My Y Challenge:
I recently hung up my collegiate soccer gear and put on a pair of “real world” workout pants. Since graduation I’ve chosen more of a recreational workout routine– the occasional Yoga or Pilate’s class, the gym circuit or a Saturday morning hike with my dog. I haven’t gotten in to anything that has really kicked my body into over drive like the (good) ol’ days and with nothing to train for I found myself in a workout rut.
I started working here at the YMCA of Greenwich in March as the Development Associate. And in July I realized I hadn’t even used the Y yet! SO I made a promise. I am going to try every class and program we have here at the Y, and blog about it..
I need to kick this workout rut I have gotten myself into and push myself outside my comfort zone.
